Over a period of 2 months developing a new website for Boulder Designs was truly a pleasure and great task. A website full of functionality that includes complete website redo with CMS as well as complete graphic design.
Before we started working on the Boulder Design website, there were few things that we had to keep in mind:
The Challenges:
- Layout: The previous site layout was not matching with the modern World Wide Web standards and there was missing elements of the promoting the correct brand or promotional message on the home banner which could have been used effectively.
- Content: The old site content was not very descriptive and missed on opportunities of educating the users on what boulder design is all about. This resulted in high bounce rate & less engagement rate.
- Search Engine Optimization: The previous website lacked the relevant content which affected the previous website ranking in the search engine.
- Conversion: Another challenge for us was to increase the conversion rate & decrease the bounce rate as previous website was not much interactive as well as attractive.
The Solution:
- Design: Design was important and we used their existing logo and branding to come up with something entirely unique and fresh which affected in higher engagement rate and less bounce rate.
- Content Management System/PowerPanel: It was important for them to manage and update their content themselves. We made it possible for them to do so with Netclues PowerPanel - One Panel to manage the content for addition as well as site updation.
- Actively Communicating with Users: Communicating with the users is important, hence we gave an option of live conversation of a guy in the website which effectively increase the the conversion level.
- Search Engine Optimization: Search Engine Optimization was important to give them new leads and conversions through their website. We have implemented SEO strategy with the guidelines laid by Google which helps them in building and converting clients through a specific location.
